In 2015. EEC Lincolne Scott were appointed as the engineering design consultant covering Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulics, Fire Protection, Transportation Services, Civil and Structural engineering of the extension part of the existing building 1 in the Stampford International University campus, Bangkok, Thailand.
From the requirement for enlarging the learning and utility space, SIU keen to seek more for area for support more demand.
Building 1: the existing 4 stories building plan to be re – builded by attached with the new extension part of 6 stories building and provide the new façade enclose both partS to become 1 building.
The extended area of approximately 4700 m² will comprise of the new class rooms, recreation and collaborative area, office and restaurant including Tennis Courts on the top roof,
EEC Lincolne Scott proposes the all new MEP system with 2 new passenger lifts for the extension area for improving the energy efficiency, reducing the effected noise level and easy to be serviced.
For C&S engineering service, post tension structure with reinforce concert system is introduced for above ground structure as the time and cost effective system.
Civil works are conventional concrete pipe and pavement.
New building 1 plan to be completed at the end of 2016
